Henna Stencil Tips – Part 1

Palm StencilNo artistic flare? No problem…try a stencil instead! Our stencils are made of thin, yet sturdy rubber. They are a great help when it comes to getting fairly nice designs in a short length of time.

How to Apply:

  1. Peel the stencils from the wax paper, and place it on clean, dry, hairless area to be decorated.
  2. Press firmly. Make sure the whole stencil is securely fixed to the skin.

  3. Apply the Henna to the areas where the skin is visible.
  4. Allow the Henna to dry a bit, then gently remove the stencil.
  5. Be sure to wash/dry the stencil, then place it back on the wax paper. The stencils may be reused about  3 – 5x’s each.
  6. Keep the Henna on as long as possible.
  7. If you are using fresh Henna paste, apply Mahlabiyyah Oil, or a Sugar/Lemon solution to enhance the stain. If you are using gel pastes, such as Rani or Chandni Kone Henna, then there’s no need for oils or solutions to enhance the stain.
  8. After the fresh Henna has dried, pick it off, or allow it to fall off on its own. If you are using Rani or Chandni Kone Henna, just wash the excess Henna off with warm water.
